Deserves 5 stars - the popcorn chicken rice platter was absolutely delicious - rice was perfectly cooked and veggies/chicken perfectly flavored. Portion size was generous. Tasted very homey. 100% recommend
Build your own healthy meal by choosing your favorite veggies, proteins, and carb, perfect for when you want something comforting and customizable. Must-try authentic Taiwanese dishes: Hot pot beef loaded with veggies Spicy dry pot (Malatang – pork bone broth) Dry pot beef with bold spices Signature Taiwanese fried popcorn chicken Taiwanese apple cider Taiwanese Sausage & Pork Belly If you’re craving real Taiwanese flavors in Flushing, this spot is a must
Keepin it real out here in Flushing Solid solid spot for some traditional Taiwanese food. Location is convenient and even better, inside a tiny food hall with bunch of other vendors. There's just the right amount of seats and still has the hole in the wall vibe. The dishes are authentic and traditional, if that's your thing then it's the spot for you. The popcorn chicken and pork chop are something that everyone will like. Will def return.
Although the food is okay, this place isn't actually opened by Taiwanese people despite the name. It is a vendor inside a unit with multiple vendors and has a few places to sit.
Delicious food for very reasonable prices! We got the Taiwanese Burger (Pork), the Popcorn Chicken Noodle, and the Beef Shanghai Noodle, which were all quite flavorful and authentic. Seating is somewhat limited because the space is shared with several other restaurants, but other than that it was a nice experience overall.
This is herbal medicine at it's finest!! Chipotle is not bad when your looking for protein but you can't go wrong over here you get delicious/savory flavors and seasoning packed in a beef soup with hearty mushroom, tofu, and rice cake. Great staff and vibes. Soup you can never get anywhere else and they really take care of you like a family.
Stinky tofu 9.99 - not so stinky for my hubby, good enough for me (still stunk) but it was flavorful, the sauce was spicy and good, the pickled cabbage was good
Total gem obscured as a hole in the wall. Pork Chop Railroad Rice Box is the best in the city, not too greasy and not overly fried with three small pieces packed in a separate container so as to let it breathe and not get soggy. Comes with two sides of veggies, two pieces of braised fried tofu and ground pork, and pickled vegetables the ways it's supposed to, on a bed of rice. Popcorn chicken also quite good. Can't wait to try the stinky tofu! Very reseasonably priceds... check out the menu.
